My name is Chelsea Jones and I am a Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) accredited photographer. I attained my Craftsman of Photographic Arts (CPA) designation in 2018 followed by my Master of Photographic Arts (MPA) in 2019. In 2021, I was the first woman in the history of the PPOC to achieve the designation of Fellow of the PPOC of which there are only 6 other living designates in Canada.

I always loved taking photos, but this love was intensified on a trip to Europe in 2009. I purchased my first used DSLR camera in 2011 and started practicing on family, friends, and, of course, my dogs! I started my business in 2013. Previous to this, I had a personal training and coaching business and I loved to help people find their vitality. It seemed fitting that I would just transition my favourite word to my new business to make Vitality Images Photography!

I definitely feel the most rewarded when I see a client displaying my art in their home! Thus far, I have accreditations with the PPOC in 20 categories including weddings, canine portraits, fine art, environmental portraits, portraiture, boudoir, glamour, botanical, travel illustration, animal, child and infant portraiture, model portfolio, image manipulation, pictorial/scenic, couples portraits, editorial illustration, equine, and military life. I was awarded Best in Class - Editorial in the PPOC 2018 National Salon and Best in Class - Portrait and Fine Art in the PPOC-2018 Alberta Provincial Salon. In 2019, I received Best in Class - Fine Art and Judge's Choice at the Nation Salon. My favourite projects are those that involve creative portraiture, and a little bit of imagination! I currently have 17 images that have made the PPOC National Salons.

I am also passionate about diversity and inclusion in photography and its industry. I am engaged in several initiatives with the goal of researching this topic and making change!
